(따라서 어디를 가든 놀러갈 때는 남쪽으로 간다고 보면 됨.)

. Campus를 가로 질러가는 것보다 Campus 경계(Scholars Drive)로 걸어가는 편이 좋다.
작은 운동장들을 지나가다보면 P101을 지나게 되고, 농구대 3~4개도 지난다.
. Birch Aquarium at scripp라는 표지가 보이고 구불구불 언덕을 따라 내려간다.

. Birch Aquarium가는 길에서 해변 쪽으로 10분 걸어가면 해변에 닿을 수 있다.
. 그 곳에서 다시 올라오면 도로에서 Bus 30도 탈 수 있다.
. 학교 밖인 것 같지만 UCSD 내부이기도 하다.
. Scripps Pier라는 길쭉한 (부두 or 방파제 or 교각)이 있는 데,
철조망이 쳐져 있어서 그 위를 걸어갈 수는 없다.
. 수족관(가로 4m x 높이 2m x 깊이 2m) 30개, 대형수족관 1개가 있다.
. 점심에 가면 스쿠버 다이버가 물고기 먹이주는 것도 볼 수 있다.
. 스쿠버 다이버는 전자 장비를 이용해서 수족관 밖에서 관람하는 사람들과
대화도 할 수 있다.
. 꼬마들이 엄마 손 잡고 주로 구경 많이 온다.
. 지진에 관한 연구, 외국 배의 밸러스트 탱크가 수중 생태계에 미치는 영향,
물고기들의 위장(카모플라주) 등도 볼 수 있다.

. 남동쪽으로 Birch Aquarium 만큼 걸어가면 나옴.
. 큰 도로를 하나 가로 질러야 하는 것이 문제임.

. Bus 30번을 타고 2~3 정거장만 가면 된다.
UCSD Gilman Parking structure -> UCSD Medical Center
-> La Jolla Villege Norte -> La Jolla Villege Norte Center
. 내리기 직전에 주유소(Mobile), El torito, Rock bottom 등의 가게가 있다.
. Norte(북)에는 International market, domino's Pizza, 술 파는 가게, Deli, sushi 등이 있다.
. Center에는 theater(극장), TGI Friday, Bank of America, Citi Bank,
Mexican Food, Market, Dentistry, Kinkos(문구점, 오피스 용품, 카피),
Post office, Savon Drug(약국 + 대형 잡화점, 건전지, 샴푸 등..),
과일가게(과일, 음식, 통조림, 등..), 쥬스 가게, 패스트푸드 점 등이 있다.
. UCSD P608 Parking Lot에서 육교를 건너도 된다.
